Beginner's Guide to Renting a Camper (No Experience Needed)

"I've Never Done This Before"

That's the most common thing we hear. And honestly? It makes total sense.

Camping in a camper sounds complicated if you've never done it. Hookups? Leveling? Propane? It can feel like a lot.

But here's the thing: it's really not. Especially when someone else handles the hard stuff.

Do You Need Experience?

Nope. Zero.

You don't need to know how to:

  • Tow anything
  • Back into a campsite
  • Hook up water, electric, or sewer
  • Level a camper
  • Do anything technical at all
  • We do all of that. When you show up, the camper is ready. We walk you through the basics—how the stove works, where the water shutoff is, how to use the A/C—and then you're set.

Most walkthroughs take about 15 minutes. It's pretty simple once you see it.

What's Already There When You Arrive

You don't need to bring camping gear. This isn't tent camping.

    Every camper comes with:

  • Real mattresses with sheets (you bring pillows and blankets)
  • A full kitchen—pots, pans, dishes, utensils, coffee maker
  • Outdoor chairs, a table, and a grill
  • Heat and A/C
  • A bathroom with a toilet and shower
  • Basically, it's like a small apartment that happens to be parked in the woods.

    What You Should Bring

    Keep it simple:

  • Clothes and toiletries
  • Food and drinks
  • Pillows, blankets, and towels
  • Whatever else you'd bring on a weekend trip
  • That's it. We always tell people: bring what you'd pack for a hotel, plus groceries.

What Happens When You Get There

You pull up. The camper is already set up—leveled, plugged in, awning out.

We meet you there and give you the walkthrough. Here's the thermostat. Here's how the stove lights. Here's the breaker box just in case. Here's our number if you need anything.

Then we leave, and you settle in.

No stress. No "figuring it out." Just start your trip.

    Questions We Get a Lot

    How does the bathroom work?

Just like at home. We connect to the campground's water and sewer, so the toilet flushes normally and the shower drains. No dumping tanks, no weird chemicals. It just works.

    What about electricity?

We plug in at the campsite. Lights, outlets, A/C, microwave, TV—everything runs like a regular house.

    Is it actually comfortable?

Yeah. That's the part that surprises most people. Real mattresses. Real climate control. A real kitchen. It's not roughing it—it's just camping without the bad parts.

    What if something breaks?

Call us. We're available the whole time you're there. Most issues are quick fixes we can walk you through on the phone—and if it's something bigger, we'll come out.
