Weekend Camper Trips Near NYC (Easy Getaways)
The City Burnout is Real
If you live in or near NYC, you know the feeling. The noise. The pace. The endless concrete.
Sometimes you just need to get out.
But planning a trip feels like another task on an already overwhelming list. Where do you go? What do you need to bring? How do you even start?
That's where a delivered camper changes everything.
Best Weekend Destinations
The Poconos
Just 90 minutes from the city. Lakes, trails, and a completely different pace of life.
We deliver to most Poconos campgrounds—Otter Lake and Driftstone are two we come back to a lot. Good facilities, relaxed vibes, and enough space that you don't feel like you're camping in a parking lot.
Delaware Water Gap
Straddling the NJ/PA border, the Water Gap is stunning any time of year.
Great hiking, kayaking, and honestly some of the best fall foliage in the Northeast. If you go in October, bring a camera.
Jersey Shore Campgrounds
Yes, you can camp at the shore.
A few campgrounds have sites close to beach access. It's a totally different vibe than the typical shore town scene—quieter, more relaxed, and you wake up to the sound of waves instead of traffic.
How Easy It Actually Is
Here's the thing most people don't realize: you don't have to tow anything.
That's it. No trailer hitch. No backing into spots. No stress.
What a Weekend Actually Looks Like
Friday evening:
Arrive at your campsite. Camper's already set up—leveled, plugged in, awning out. We give you a quick walkthrough, and then you're on your own. Unpack, crack open a drink, sit outside. Breathe.
Saturday:
Sleep in. Actually sleep in—real mattress, A/C humming, no rocks digging into your back. Make coffee in the kitchen, cook breakfast, take your time. Then do whatever you want. Hike. Swim. Read a book in a camp chair. Grill something good for dinner.
Sunday:
No rush. No tent to break down. Just pack your clothes, lock up, and drive home. We come back and pick up the camper.
You'll actually feel rested. That's the difference.
